ITI courses stands for Industrial Training Institutes where these are governed by the DGET also known by as Directorate General of Employment and Training. They focus on providing a vocational training to student so that they can get into job opportunities and other small scale level business straightaway and make a good career in it.

These courses are majorly focused to provide employment based skill training and more to the students so that they are industry ready and can go on to become a good industry job oriented person. This also allows them to become ready work forces who can make a good living. Students can opt for ITI courses right after class 10 or even after class 12. There are multiple technical courses offered under this regime just like in the polytechnic fields. These courses are taught by many private and government based centers who specialize in teaching ITI based courses to students.
